Goldex Civil - Our Capabilities
Goldex Civil has over 20 years of industry experience in the civil and rail contracting industries. This expertise has been gained in the demolition and construction of bridges, - road and rail. The director of Goldex Civil, Allan, has an active presence in the workplace. We are a close-knit organisation where every employee and subcontractor (and their employees) are known to management, and we efficiently carry out our work while keeping everyone safe. Goldex Civil is a preferred subcontractor for many of our clients (and suppliers) as we treat them all with respect and appreciation for the work we can complete for them. Goldex Civil's work methods are based on an intimate understanding of the design and construction methodologies necessary for the completion of the works. Goldex Civil seeks not to just provide successful high-quality construction works for our clients, but to partner with them in winning work, delivering successful projects, and solving problems with practical, real-world advice.
Management System Goldex Civil operates an integrated management system that is aimed at ensuring consistency in all our construction operations. The management system incorporates WHS, Environment, and Quality requirements, and also addresses Risk Management.
WHS
Goldex Civil understands that safety is a vital aspect of modern construction, and we are committed to managing our sites to achieve zero harm to all involved in the project. As part of our Project Management Plan, a site-specific Safety Management Plan is prepared that observes every aspect of the project to identify key high-risk operations. In conjunction with the Safety Management Plan, Safe Work Method Statements are prepared to identify and control the risks involved when completing specific tasks on site.
Environmental
Before starting work on a site or a new area of the work, Goldex Civil prepares a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) to assess the environmental aspects and determine the impacts of the work to be undertaken. Appropriate environmental controls are implemented, minimising our impact on the environment before, during, and post-construction.
Financial Capacity and Resources
Goldex Civil has the financial resources and capacity to undertake the work for which it tends. We can issue the project securities required by clients and the working capital to finance the ongoing construction works. The company accounts are controlled by Xero, an accounting software, and up-to-date balance sheets and profit/loss statements are readily available on request. Financial Statements are prepared every year for tax assessment purposes and utilised at the end of each year for monitoring the financial health of the company. These Financial Statements are available on request.
Demolition Certification
Goldex Civil is in the final stages of becoming an accredited and licensed demolition contractor with SafeWork NSW (formerly WorkCover NSW). Our Director, Allan, has over 15 years of experience in Bridge demolition.

Goldex Civil strives to be seen as a respected and good neighbour in the communities in which we work. Where possible, we engage local labour, subcontractors, and plant and material suppliers.
